What this site is
LombokTravel.com is a travel portal for the island of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It is built from eleven destination guides — Mount Rinjani and Senaru, the Sembalun valley, Tetebatu, Kuta and Mandalika, the south-coast beaches, the Sasak villages, Pink Beach and east Lombok, Senggigi, Mataram, the Gili Islands and Sekotong — each with pages for tours, things to see, getting there, practical advice and seasons. Island-wide guides cover itineraries, getting there, getting around, Rinjani trekking, culture and etiquette, seasons and where to stay.
How we work
- Facts are hedged on purpose. Boat schedules, fares, entry fees and park rules change often. We give approximate figures and say “about” or “around” when we mean it; always confirm details locally before you travel.
- Tours are real listings. Every tour we feature is an actual GetYourGuide product, checked in October 2026, with the rating and review count shown at that time. Where reviews are few, we say so.
- Hotels are real properties. We list a selection of well-reviewed places to stay in each destination and link to Booking.com for live prices. We do not show prices for individual hotels, because they change daily.
- Photographs are freely licensed. All images come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons or public-domain terms and are credited on our image credits page.

How the site is funded
