Lombok International Airport (LOP), near Praya, is only around 20 km from Kuta. Official taxis and pre-booked transfers wait at arrivals, and there are airport shuttle buses (DAMRI) on some routes. From the west coast and the Gili harbour the road runs south through Mataram; from Bali you arrive either by plane or by boat to the west coast.
