Getting to the south coast

The south-coast beaches are reached from Kuta by road. Most visitors use a scooter, a driver or a day tour.

From Kuta a road heads west over the hills to Mawun and Selong Belanak, continuing towards Mawi and the south-west. East of Kuta the road passes Gerupuk and continues inland around to Ekas. There is no regular public transport to the beaches.
