From the airport or Kuta the road heads north-east through Praya and the market town of Kotaraja. From Mataram and Senggigi it runs east across the island. Many visitors combine Tetebatu with Sembalun, Senaru or the south coast in a multi-day driver hire.

Getting around Tetebatu
Inside Tetebatu you walk. Homestays arrange guides, scooters and drivers for waterfalls and craft villages. Roads are narrow and busy with motorbikes; take care at night.
